Visual Identity
“Towada Civie Center Plaza”, developed by Kengo Kuma and Associates, carries Towada city's intention to improve public welfare and environment for citizens of all ages.
In line with the theme of the project “New place for social exchange”, the visual identity is an abstract of the pathway that functions to connect each area seen from above. An open source font is used throughout the signage design, in conjunction with their spatial concept for citizens to communicate and integrate.
